I had fully intended to post my
Thanksgiving Stuffing recipe
on Thursday.
I would take pictures
as I made the stuffing Wednesday evening
and Thursday morning
and post the recipe
before I head to my in-laws
to celebrate Thanksgiving.
Unfortunately,
health issues got in the way of my plans
and instead of taking pictures
of the world's easiest and
most heart-warming stuffing
on Wednesday,
I spent the day
hooked to I.V.s
in the E.R.
No worries,
all the tests came back clean
and all is back to normal.
But,
alas,
there was no stuffing.
There was pain medications
and over sleeping instead.
It is one heck of a way
to celebrate the holiday!
I really don't recommend it.
Putting that behind us.
After Thanksgiving comes
Christmas!
WOO HOO!
I love Christmas.
No,
it's not my favorite holiday,
but it is in the top three!
And a small child around the house
makes the season that much more
merry and bright!
Oh my
apple pie!
I have quite a bit
apple pie!
I have quite a bit
to share with you this time
around!
First, I just stumbled across this
and wanted to share it with everyone!

I try to make most of my Christmas Gifts.
Those I cannot make,
for one reason or another,
I try to pick up at craft shows
so I am supporting local crafters.
Local businesses are a
great resource, too!
On to your wonderful!

Life and Other Shenanigans
jumped on the
Christmas band wagon early
by posting these beautiful,
simple DIY ornaments
back in September!

Folk Haven
shared these beautiful beaded wire
Christmas trees.
I think they would look wonderful
strategically placed in front of a light
to really sparkle!

One More Time
posted these beautiful
rustic ornaments!
I cannot believe they
used to be
toilet paper rolls!

I don't know
what I love more about
The Woodside Kitchen's
ornaments.
Not only are they
just beautiful,
but they're made
of homemade clay
that I can use
my cookie cutters with!
What a great clay recipe!

Speaking of non-toxic
clays,
there is nothing
like the scent of cinnamon
to tell you it is the holidays.
Mommy's Kitchen
shares
her cinnamon ornaments
with us.
I cannot wait to
do this!
They are on
my advent calendar
this year!

The Cards We Drew
shared this beautiful
JOY decor!
I am in love with the
bold color combo
in this set up!

I am in *love*
with Designed by Dawn Nicole's
Pointsettia Wreath!
The felt pointsettias
are so easy to make
with her step by step
tutorial and the colors
on the wreath are just
perfect for the
holidays!

Better Organized Living's
Snowflake Wreath is so
simple and pretty!
I want to make one for
every window on my
screened in porch!
Good thing they're
inexpensive, too!

These little trees at
Landee See, Landee Do
are just too cute!
These will definitely
steal the show in
my interior decor!

Confessions of an ADD Housewife
posted this incredibly versatile
garland idea.
I just love how easy it is
to make and to change
from year to year,
when needed!

To finish things off,
I really love
Ladybird Lane's
JOY Frames!
They are the epitome
of simple but
just gorgeous!

Kelli, I am so sorry about the way your Thanksgiving turned out, but glad that all is well now. Your Christmas features are a great way to get inspired for the new season...thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for dropping by! It's the tough times in life that really remind us what we're thankful for, right? I'm really thankful that I have health insurance and I am not staring down a gigantic bill from all of this and I am really thankful that I have a loving husband who sat by me through all of it. So in the end, it wasn't an entire wash! Glad to hear you were inspired! I know I am definitely in the Christmas spirit this year!
